PRT English Teacher

Position: PRT English Teacher

Locations: Bangalore

The Role:

• Teach English language and literature to primary school students (Grades 1–5)
• Develop students’ foundational literacy, including phonics, reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension skills
• Prepare structured lesson plans, interactive worksheets, assessments, and creative learning materials
• Conduct engaging, activity-based learning sessions (such as storytelling, role-play, and vocabulary games)
• Assess student progress, grade assignments, and maintain detailed academic records
• Use digital platforms such as Google Classroom for assignments, grading, and online communication
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities
• Follow school policies, CBSE curriculum requirements, and academic timelines

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
• B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Master’s Degree preferred
• 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in CBSE schools
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
